Dear All, I am writing to let you know of some exciting changes for the artists of Seaview Music. Seaview has decided to restructure how its artists are managed, as follows: The Classic Buskers will
be represented from now on by Sarah Bruce, who has been managing the
Buskers for years, at her new agency, Lomonaco Artists. www.lomonaco-artists.com
and info@lomonaco-artists.comMichael Copley on over 40 woodwind instruments and Ian Moore on accordion continue to delight audiences worldwide with their combination of musical virtuosity and British humour. They are developing new repertoire for the various anniversary years coming up - Puccini in 2008, Mendelssohn in 2009 and Chopin in 2010. Their educational programmes with orchestra are also proving ever more popular, with invitations from orchestras around the world. The Chuckerbutty Ocarina Quartet and Sambuca will be represented by
Peter Martin. peter.lute@gmail.comDuring 2007 the Chuckerbutties have won many new fans at festivals in England, family concerts in Spain, and on the air with Classic FM. Audiences young and old have been captivated by the quartet's charm, ebullient presentation, and their sheer musical skill on the ocarina and other equally serious instruments. "So weird it's wonderful" ( Lute News, July 2007). www.myspace.com/chuckerbutty Sambuca, Michael Copley's duo with Peter Martin on
guitar and lute, has
been a hit this year in universities, arts centres, and
festivals. Albeniz, Vivaldi, bouncy renaissance dumps, Romanian
panpipe music swirl through a heady programme, with occasional
sightings of charango, bass flute and other exotica. Catch them
on their UK tour in October if you get the chance. www.myspace.com/sambuca999 The Carnival Band will be represented by Andy
Watts www.carnivalband.comAndy Watts has been leading the wonderful Carnival Band for many years, the highlight of their year being their annual Christmas tour of the UK with celebrated folk singer, Maddy Prior. Education is also central to their activities, with a range of workshops and educational concerts on a variety of themes available. Seaview emails will continue to be monitored, but please contact the individual managers above for a fast response to your enquiries. All these artists are going from strength to strength and have much to offer promoters around the globe, so do get in touch to find out more! All good wishes Alison Suter, Administrator ______________________________________________ Seaview Music 28 Mawson Road Cambridge, CB1 2EA, UK T: +44 (0)1223 508431 E: seaview@dial.pipex.com http://www.seaviewmusic.co.uk |
